We offer programs in Echocardiography, Vascular Technology, Ob/Gyn, and General Ultrasound. Our goal at Prime is to provide you with an unsurpassed ultrasound educational experience.

Our teaching faculty is of the highest quality and posses extensive clinical experienced and ultrasound training. Prime Diagnostic Institute’s Educational Advisory Committee is comprised of Board Certified Neuro-Radiologists, Cardiologists and Registered Ultrasound Technologist, affiliated with major teaching hospitals on Long Island. Our professors utilize comprehensive teaching methods that make difficult concepts easy to understand and to prepare entry-level students with the diagnostic skills required for today’s ultrasound job market. Our focus is to enhance your knowledge and professional growth throughout our program.

Our didactic lectures are innovative and interactive, encouraging student participation. This gives each and every student the opportunity to engage in their education.  Normal and abnormal case studies presentations are provided for each subject, which is essential for building a knowledgeable clinical foundation for identifying pathological findings.

It is our commitment that every student will be educated in using basic and advanced scanning techniques, protocols, and procedures. These protocols are standardized by nationally accrediting medical institutions. We take great pride in our scanning labs. The number one priority of our lab instructors is to help you achieve an optimal and complete ultrasound examination. Our extensive hands-on scanning labs and small student to teacher ratio allows our students the chance to become comfortable and confident in acquiring sequenced imaging views, scanning planes, and measurements.

Weekly self–assessment examinations are provided by our staff to track your personal growth and to identify your individual strengths and limitations. Utilizing state of the art digital ultrasound equipment ensures that all your educational objectives will be met and exceeded.  The programs we offer are relevant to patients and employer’s needs and focus on areas that offer long term employment opportunities.
